Are you looking to try a new local restaurant? There are so many great options in Utah, but what about when you’re looking for the perfect lunch spot. One of our favorite things to do is to check out the local sandwich shops in the area. But when you’re in a rush to choose, sometimes it can be a bit overwhelming. So today, we’ve gathered a few of our favorites to help you choose your next stop for lunch this week.

1) Silverside Deli
Silverside Deli is a locally owned and operated restaurant in Sugarhouse. They specialize in gourmet sandwiches and coffee. Along with being made fresh to order, they also use only the best from local sources. While there is so much you can try when you visit, you must try the house sauce.
2) Deadpan Sandwiches
At Deadpan Sandwiches, they strived to cook provide a delicious and gratifying experience through their amazing sandwiches. Using old world food preservation, like pickling and smoking, they’ve elevated their food to a whole new level that you definitely don’t want to miss out on.

3) The Robin’s Nest
Located in Downtown Salt Lake City, The Robin’s Nest is where you will find delicious gourmet sandwiches. Here they don’t believe all sandwiches are created equal. And to prove that, they have crafted an awe-inspiringly unique favorite. The owner, who is a local and native to the city, uses only the best ingredients to truly up the amazing taste of each sandwich.
4) Mediterranean Market & Deli
Established in 1958, Mediterranean Market & Deli is the best place to go for great Italian and Greek food. While there are a lot of other things to check out when you visit, we highly recommend grabbing yourself a sandwich. They have both hot and cold options to choose from that will have you coming back time and time again.
5) Bud’s
Bud’s is 100% vegan deliciousness. The shop was born out of a passion for plant-based eating. Where today, you’ll find everything is made in-house, including all of the proteins and sauces. Even if you aren’t vegan, we highly recommend you stop in to see some of the amazing food they have to offer.
