When you live in Utah there are so many amazing things to do all the time. Like a weekend getaway or going out for a great meal. Though one of our favorite things to do on a lovely day fall day is to check out some of the beautiful fall foliage you can find. There are plenty of great options that you don’t want to miss out on.

1) Memory Grove Park
Located just east of the Utah Sate Capitol building, this park is a stellar stop for seeing some beautiful fall colors. Memory Grove Park has a line of trees that will show off all the reds and yellows. The park is easy to navigate road that will take you deeper into the vibrant colors that you don’t want to miss out on.
2) City Creek Canyon
The canyon is surprisingly close to Salt Lake City, making it a perfect day trip to explore the beautiful fall colors. Spend some time hiking through the area, taking your time to see all that nature has to offer. Situated behind the Capitol Building, this stunning transition from city life to nature is awe inspiring, you’ll want to plan your visit today.
3) Liberty Park
The oldest and second-largest park in the city, Liberty Park is packed full of fun things to do. Spend some time at Tracy Avery. Or take a stroll around the outside of the park to see some stunning views of the fall colors. The park is a favorite spot for many residents in Salt Lake City, for the beauty of diverse uses and natural spaces.
4) Murray Park
One of the best parks in the valley, Murray Park has tons to offer. Stop in on the weekend to walk around the park, then pick up some produce at the Farmer’s Market. Or spend the morning exploring the arboretum where you can get a quiet moment in the middle of the city. All while enjoying the beauty of the fall colors.
