Utah Housing Project Breaks Ground on Affordable Housing Complex

As a follow up to my last article on Utah apartments I found this article and wanted to link to it.

A ground breaking ceremony with Utah Lieutenant Governor Greg Bell and other dignitaries took place in downtown Salt Lake City for an affordable new housing complex according to https://www.utah.gov/ltgovernor/news/article.html?article=4119.

“One-hundred percent of the units at Providence Place Apartments will be for families earning 60 percent or less of the area median income,” said Kipling S. Sheppard of Wasatch Advantage Group, developer for the project.  “I believe this project will play a key role in helping the ongoing renaissance of Salt Lake City.”

The apartments are one of many projects in downtown Salt Lake in an effort to revitalize office, retail and residential development.
